Who We Are
Mananeh means God’s People. It is a Ministry committed to partnering with the local churches to reproduce in God’s people His character of self sacrificing love and self-denial. Jesus said in John 13.35 “By this will men know that you are my disciples because you have love one for another.
“The spirit of Christ self-sacrificing life is the spirit that pervades heaven and is the very essence of its bliss. This is the spirit that Christ’s followers will possess, the work that they will do. When the love of Christ is enshrined in the heart, like sweet fragrance it cannot be hidden”.
Ellen White, Steps To Christ.
The Ministry is committed to helping Gods, people in a spiritual and physical way through relevant and practical Bible studies, guidelines for a more meaningful prayer life, providing resources for better and healthier life for both the young and old. The Ministry is also committed to assisting Gods people in the preparation for the final crisis and the eminent return of Christ second coming.
To accomplish our mission the Ministry believes we must seek to present and teach Gods word to His people in a relevant, practical and understandable format, we must teach God’s people to recognize that the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, resulting in lifestyle changes through proper exercise, eating habits and rest for physical, mental and emotional health. We must encourage believers to strive for a life of self denial and self sacrifice and to grow daily in the Fruit of the Spirit – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
For your health proper Diet is encouraged by the Ministry:
The distinction between clean and unclean was made in all matters of diet: “I am the Lord thy God, which have separated you from other people. You shall therefore put difference between clean beast and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and you shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing, which I have separated from you as unclean.” Leviticus 20:24, 25. Many articles of food eaten freely by the heathen about them were forbidden to the Israelites. It was no arbitrary distinction that was made. The Things prohibited were unwholesome, And the fact that they were pronounced unclean taught the lesson that the use of injurious foods is defiling. That which corrupts the body tends to corrupt the soul. It unfits the user for communion with God, unfits him for high and holy service. In the Promised Land the discipline begun in the wilderness was continued under the circumstances favorable to the formation of right habits. The Ministry of Healing, pg. 74
